The cheapest AI video clipper without a watermark is LumiClip at $9.99/month, ahead of OpusClip at $15 and Vizard at $29 month to month. Here are the verified prices.

Updated: 22 October 2026

We make LumiClip, an AI video clipper that turns long videos into short vertical clips for TikTok, Reels and YouTube Shorts, so weigh our view accordingly. We've listed where each competitor is stronger.

This price check covers the five AI clippers people compare most often, the lowest plan on each that removes the watermark, and what the free plans actually give you. Every price below was checked on the vendor's own pricing page on 22 October 2026.

What is the cheapest AI video clipper without a watermark?

LumiClip's Starter plan, at $9.99/month, is the cheapest watermark-free AI clipper we found among the five tools we priced. It includes 1080p exports with no watermark and a brand kit. Next come OpusClip Starter at $15/month and Klap Basic at $14/month billed yearly. Vizard's Creator plan is $29/month, or $14.50/month billed yearly.

If you pay yearly, the gap narrows. If you need clips from long videos on Submagic, the real cost doubles because long-video clipping is a separate add-on.

How we compared the prices

We looked for the lowest-priced plan on each tool that exports clips with no watermark, then checked what that plan limits. A cheap plan is no bargain if it caps you at a handful of clips. For each tool we noted:

  • Watermark-free entry price: the cheapest paid plan with no watermark, month to month where the vendor shows it.
  • Yearly price: what the same plan costs per month on annual billing.
  • Free plan: whether one exists and where the watermark appears.
  • Usage model: per minute of source video, per credit, per clip or per video. This decides your real cost.
  • Long-video support: whether the plan can actually cut a 60-minute podcast into clips.

We didn't run a paid quality test for this post, so this is a price comparison, not a ranking of clip quality.

How much does each AI clipper cost without a watermark?

Watermark-free plans run from $9.99 to $29 a month on monthly billing, and from $12 to $14.50 a month on the yearly plans we checked. The cheapest headline price doesn't always win, because the tools meter usage differently. Here is each one with the same labels so you can compare them side by side.

1. LumiClip: cheapest monthly price

  • Watermark-free price (as of October 2026): $9.99/month for Starter, per the LumiClip pricing page. Pro is $24.99/month.
  • Free plan: 60 minutes of video a month, 720p export with a watermark, no credit card.
  • Usage model: credits based on minutes of source video.
  • Strengths: lowest monthly entry price here, plus an agent mode that watches up to 10 YouTube or Twitch channels and auto-publishes clips. It also has an MCP server and a developer API.
  • Watch out for: it's a focused clipper. If you want a full editing suite with AI voice-over, dubbing and eye-contact correction, OpusClip Pro does more.

2. OpusClip: cheapest big-name option

  • Watermark-free price (as of October 2026): $15/month for Starter, per the OpusClip pricing page. Pro is $29/month.
  • Free plan: yes, but caption templates carry a watermark, exports expire after 3 days and media storage expires after 3 days.
  • Usage model: credits, based on minutes of uploaded video.
  • Strengths: a mature product with a large feature set. Pro adds an MCP connector, a video editing API, bulk export and export to Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve. It's also built for very long sources.
  • Watch out for: Starter has no social media scheduler, no bulk export and no API. Starter storage expires after 29 days.

3. Klap: cheapest per clip at low volume

  • Watermark-free price (as of October 2026): $14/month billed yearly for Basic with 100 clips a month, per the Klap pricing page. Pro is $39/month billed yearly for 300 clips.
  • Free plan: the pricing page lists only paid plans.
  • Usage model: per clip generated.
  • Strengths: pricing by output is easy to predict. If you only need a set number of clips each month, you never pay for source minutes that produced nothing.
  • Watch out for: the advertised prices are yearly. Check the monthly price before you commit, and note that heavy clippers hit the clip cap quickly.

4. Vizard: generous free credits, pricier monthly plan

  • Watermark-free price (as of October 2026): $29/month for Creator, or $14.50/month billed yearly ($174 a year), per the Vizard pricing page. Business is $39/month.
  • Free plan: 60 credits a month, 720p export, 3-day storage. The watermark is removed on paid plans.
  • Usage model: credits, from 600 a month on Creator.
  • Strengths: 4K export and scheduling on Creator, posting to six social accounts, and API access on every plan.
  • Watch out for: the monthly price is the highest here. Vizard only competes on price if you pay for a full year upfront.

5. Submagic: watermark-free, but long videos cost extra

  • Watermark-free price (as of October 2026): $19/month for Starter, or $12/month billed yearly, per the Submagic pricing page. Every paid plan exports without a watermark.
  • Free plan: no free plan on the pricing page.
  • Usage model: per video. Starter covers 15 videos a month, up to 2 minutes each.
  • Strengths: excellent animated captions and B-roll for short videos you've already cut.
  • Watch out for: turning a long video into clips needs the Magic Clips add-on, listed at $19/month for 10 uploads in Submagic's help center. That makes Starter plus Magic Clips $38/month.

Do free AI clippers add a watermark?

Yes, nearly every free AI clipper plan adds a watermark or limits exports. On the free plans we checked, OpusClip watermarks its caption templates, and LumiClip exports at 720p with a watermark. Vizard's free plan also exports at 720p, with removal of the watermark listed as a paid feature.

Free plans are still worth using to test clip quality on your own footage before you pay. Run the same video through two or three tools and compare the clips side by side. Just don't plan to post free-plan clips on a brand account.

Which watermark-free clipper is cheapest per hour of video?

It depends on how each tool meters usage, so price the plan against your real monthly volume. A podcaster uploading four 60-minute episodes a month and a streamer uploading twenty hours have very different costs on the same plan. Use these rules of thumb:

  • Per-minute or credit plans (LumiClip, OpusClip, Vizard): cost scales with how much source video you upload. Good when you want many clips from each long video.
  • Per-clip plans (Klap): cost scales with output. Good when you only want a few strong clips from each video.
  • Per-video plans (Submagic): good for captioning short clips. Poor value for long sources unless you add Magic Clips.

Before you subscribe, check each plan's monthly minute or credit allowance against your upload hours. Allowances change often, so check the vendor's pricing page on the day you buy.

If you're switching away from OpusClip specifically, our guide to cheaper Opus Clip alternatives works out the cost per source hour for seven tools.

Is the cheapest clipper the best value?

Not always: the best value is the cheapest plan that removes the watermark and covers your volume and posting workflow. If you spend hours each week downloading clips and uploading them to three platforms, a plan with scheduling or auto-publishing can save more than the $5-$20 difference in price.

Pick by what you need most:

  • Lowest monthly bill: LumiClip Starter at $9.99/month.
  • Hands-off posting from YouTube or Twitch channels: LumiClip's agent mode. Our guide to auto-clipping a YouTube channel to TikTok shows the setup.
  • Biggest feature set and very long sources: OpusClip Pro at $29/month.
  • Predictable cost for a fixed number of clips: Klap Basic.
  • Best captions on short videos you've already cut: Submagic Starter.
  • Lowest yearly price with 4K exports: Vizard Creator billed yearly.

Quick verdict

  • LumiClip: cheapest monthly watermark-free plan at $9.99/month, with channel auto-clipping and MCP.
  • OpusClip: $15/month Starter removes the watermark; Pro is the most complete suite.
  • Klap: $14/month billed yearly for 100 clips; simple per-clip pricing.
  • Vizard: $29/month or $14.50/month yearly; strong free credits and 4K.
  • Submagic: $19/month with no watermark, but long videos need a $19/month add-on.
